Used Tipper
A tipper is a trailer constructed from a body and chassis, which is pulled by a towing vehicle and accordingly does not have its own drive. Tiltable materials, such as rubble or earth, can easily be picked up, transported and unloaded at the destination using this set-up. In agriculture, tippers are used in a range of disciplines - whether for sowing or for various transport operations from the farm to the arable land. Tipper trailers are also useful in gardening and landscaping.
Technology in the tipper
Depending on the size of the tipper, the tipping process is carried out by a hydraulic drive using a lifting system or by levers and cables. The latter tends to be used with medium-sized tippers. The hydraulic lifting system is controlled either by the engine of the towing vehicle or by an integrated battery in the tipper. Tippers can differ fundamentally from each other in their construction. In addition to single-axle, two-axle and multi-axle tippers, there are also tandem tippers. Single-axle tippers have, as the name suggests, an axle. The single-axle tipper is therefore equipped with two wheels and the corresponding drawbar. It is sometimes lighter in its construction than other types of tippers. In contrast, the double-axle vehicle has four wheels and two axles. The decisive factor for the use of a specific tipper type is above all the towing vehicle and its permissible towing load.
Types of tippers
Furthermore, tippers differ in their design according to the direction of tipping. Regardless of the design (single-axle tipper, multi-axle tipper, etc.), a distinction is also made between corner and three-way tippers. Depending on the design, the tippers are referred to as dump trucks or three-way tippers. These can also be equipped with add-on tailboards so that larger loads and materials can be transported easily and safely. Vans like multicars are also being extended with tippers, the so-called multicar trailers. The multicar trailer is easy to maneuver and most are also suitable for tractors. Thanks to the equipment, for example the overrun brake with automatic reversing and parking brake, the trailers are ready for use. The HM 20.11 two-way tipping trailer is one of the classic cars among multicar trailers and a collector's item among farmers.

Three-way tippers are characterized by their high flexibility, which is guaranteed in addition to the interchangeable stop joints and the side walls that can be opened in three directions. This allows the contents of the tipper body to be emptied effectively in three different directions (back, right and left). In addition, the side walls can be constructed in two parts, so that, if necessary, only half of the respective side wall is opened. This is particularly useful for emptying the tipper slowly. On the other hand, the advantage of the dump trucks that can be tilted on one side is that they can accommodate a larger loading volume. This is mainly due to the construction of the dump trucks, as they can withstand a higher compressive stress. In addition, they have deeper troughs, which enables a larger loading volume.
